While we work as hard as we can to source, promote and celebrate the best of local Cambridgeshire, we’re very happy to cast our net wider to bring you the best there is.
Increasingly now, our commitment to quality must take in issues such as food waste and sustainability. We want our good food to make everyone feel good.

Fresh Fruit & Vegetables
Our fresh fruit and vegetables are locally sourced wherever possible, complemented by produce from further afield. But wherever it comes from, you can rest assured that the quality, taste and provenance is the best it can be.
Cook
If you’re having one of those days when you’re frazzled or simply can’t decide what to make for supper, let us introduce you to the terrific COOK range of frozen meals. Using the best ingredients, they really do taste home-cooked and The Gog stocks dozens of different lines, along with top ten favourites such as Lasagne al Forno, Macaroni Cheese, Chicken, Ham & Leek Pie and Green Thai Chicken Curry.
Grocery
All our grocery products come from some of the best suppliers. Our coffee beans are freshly roasted by Monmouth Coffee in Borough Market, London. Or how about sampling some of our delicious snacks such as Captain Tiptoes, Cambrook Nuts, The Snaffling Pig Company, Howdah Indian Snacks, Pipers Crisps or Torres Potato Chips (have you tried the Torres Black Truffle Crisps?!). Take a look around our grocery section and discover some real hidden gems that you never knew you couldn’t do without!
Wines & Spirits
Our wines and spirits feature a wonderfully curated selection of continental wine, as well as local delights such as Saffron Grange’s Classic Cuvée – a superb sparkling white wine from only 8 miles away. Local beers include Wylde Sky, Moonshine and Calvors Brewery, and larger producers such as Adnams. On to the spirits and you’ll find local gems such as Jake’s Gin and Pinksters, through to the sensational gin of ‘The Cambridge Distillery’.

The 'Big Green Egg'
Outside the shop you’ll often find one of our many Big Green Egg ceramic ovens smoking away. Initially inspired by seeing Cambridge chef Daniel Clifford of Midsummer House putting these to good use, The Gog is now one of their largest retailers. Use for slow-cooking, grilling, roasting and baking over charcoal, and we promise you’ll never look back.
