Naturally, excellent taste and provenance are at the top of the list when we select our stock.
While we work as hard as we can to source, promote and celebrate the best of Cambridgeshire, we’re very happy to cast our net wider to bring you the best there is.
Increasingly now, our commitment to quality must take in issues such as food waste and sustainability. We want our good food to make everyone feel good.
As well as our fantastic local produce, our quest for the best has found us stocking hundreds of the UK’s most exciting brands.

Our Produce
Cheese & Dairy
Neal’s Yard Dairy help us select the very best British and Irish Cheeses, from the classic cheddars of Montgomery to Westcombe; and the British Territorials of Kirkham’s Lancashire to Sparkenhoe Red Leicester; or the soft cheese of Baron Bigod, to Tunworth. Mons Cheesemongers take care of the traditional cheeses from the Continent, while Brindisa supply our Spanish produce. All must be tried!
Although it’s continually evolving, expect to find classics in the deli fridge from the Devon Cream Co, Purely Pesto, and Tim’s Dairy.
Charcuterie
Aside from The Gog’s own award-winning hams, the deli shelves feature charcuterie from Marsh Pig, with smoked salmon from Pinney’s of Orford.
Bakery
There is nothing quite like the smell of freshly baked bread or the taste of succulent homemade pies. A local Cambridge baker delivers our fresh bread daily and our savoury pies come from a small producer north of Cambridge.
The Gog Delicatessen
Supplying Cambridge with Top Quality Produce
The Great Gog Cheese Gathering
In conjunction with our dear friends at Neal’s Yard Dairy, The Gog has brought together a number of the world’s best cheese makers in an annual celebration of cheese. The last few years have seen appearances from Jamie Montgomery (Montgomery’s Cheddar), Graham Kirkham (Kirkham’s Lancashire), Joe Schneider (Stichelton), Jonny Crickmore (Baron Bigod), and Simon & Tim Jones (Lincolnshire Poacher). A day of tasting and sharing stories with enthusiastic customers on the farm, typically culminates in punting on the river Cam, whilst taking in the historic University and some local brews.
Roll on next time!
